Mi chiamo Franco. Ho 65 anni. Vivo nel sud della Svizzera, in Canton Ticino, precisamente a Cadenazzo, un piccolo villaggio tra Bellinzona e Locarno. La mia passione per la radio cominciò a 25 anni con il CB. Grazie al mio amico Giuseppe HB9SUA (ora Silent Key) l'interesse per questo hobby prese una grande importanza. Nel 2006 ho conseguito la licenza di HB3 con il nominativo HB3YOR. Più tardi, con il Tera Radio Club, ho preparato l'esame per il passaggio a HB9... Ora il mio call è HB9EDG e ne sono veramente felice!

My name is Franco. I'm 65 years old. I live in the south of Switzerland, in the region "Cantone Ticino", precisely, in a little village called Cadenazzo, near to Bellinzona and Locarno. My passion for the radio began at the age of 25 years with CB. With my old friend Giuseppe HB9SUA (now Silent Key), the interest for this hobby became more important. In 2006 I received my amateur radio license with the callsign HB3YOR. Afterwards, with the Tera Radio Club, I prepared my great final exam ... Now I'm HB9EDG and I'm very happy!
